Ainsoph : Ω – V (2020)

I’ve come across interesting bands very often over the years so I have learned to recognize talented musicians quickly when I hear them and feel their music.
Ainsoph are a new new band, waving on the horizon from the intriguing Netherlands.
A band that is very difficult for anyone to put in any framework, I think.
That is the essence of their beauty – they are just different.

The title “Ω – V” is one of the most relevant things I’ve been listening to lately.
In each of the songs, we can enjoy a technically sophisticated and surprisingly well-executed combination of all kinds of styles – psychedelic rock, stoner, voidgaze, dream pop / shoegaze, post-black metal, post-punk and even jazz elements.
All this, combined with gentle, unearthly vocals, roaming through the space, as if simply passing through the entangled instrumental , besprent with diamonds so different in color and complexity.
If you’re wondering what the combination of Medicine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs,  The Myrrors, Show Me A Dinosaur and Electric Moon might be, for example – oh, well, Ainsoph can help our imagination a lot.
Inspiring music, especially suitable for late-night walks or hanging on the balcony at 3 in the morning, shivering from the night breeze.
Work of art, carrying a sense of dreaminess, charming and at the same time intense and sewn with a meaningful message .
A beautiful piece in which I will probably discover new elements with each subsequent listen.
Can’t wait to dive more & more…
