Излезе първи брой на списанието EOSPHOROS CULT

It is with immense excitement and great pleasure that I present the first issue of Eosphoros Cult, a black metal periodical zine dedicated to the raw, unfiltered, and eternal voices of the underground! After months of hard work, this issue brings you seven in-depth conversations with musicians from both the local and global black metal scene, featuring MARA, BLOEDMAAN, PYRA, INFERNAL ANGELS, DEIMOS/PRAZNINA, SMYRTONOS/TODORAC, and INSANUS. My heartfelt thanks to each of them for the captivating discussions—this experience has been truly overwhelming.

The idea for the zine was born in the summer of 2023, when I started to really throw ideas in my head about who to invite and how I want the design to look. A lot of changes happened. At first my idea was to make it look more contemporary, as well as to include more of my drawings, but in the end I realized that I didn’t want to take up the space with my own Art,  I wanted the focus to be entirely on the content, on what the musicians said – because,trust me, each one of them carries an unimaginable energy and it is important that it is scattered throughout the space, it is important to spread the work and the word of the artists who create and exist in a way far beyond the mediocre. So, I made the first issue of Eosphoros Cult in a completely old-school way, on quality chrome paper, in one of the oldest printing houses in Bulgaria. The moment I touched my work, I also realized its magnitude – I cannot describe to you my pride and joy at that moment.

The zine spans a little over 30 pages, with seven interviews in total, and the format itself is as unique as the content: 17 by 24 cm (just a bit smaller than A4 and larger than A5).
Eosphoros Cult is available in two languages: Bulgarian and English.
The edition is limited to 66 hand-numbered copies in English and 66 hand-numbered copies in Bulgarian.
