Two Italian black metal forces, hailing from Sardinia, have joined Masked Dead Records & Sulphur Music for the release of their upcoming spells of darkness!
The first one is UNHOLY IMPURITY.
Sardinian bones maniacs Unholy Impurity will release their brand
new album “Oculus Mortis” during the last days of life of February
2025. Their sinister and ritualistic style remembers the one of
first-era Mayhem and Watain, as well as of Marduk and Celestial
Bloodshed. Raw, solid and straight-to-the-point.
Inspired by spirituality and ancient mysteries linked to Sardinia’s
culture, the album features four songs with lyrics in Sardinian
language (hence Sardinian Native Black Metal) and an astonishing
detailed artwork by the Indonesian artist Oik Wasfuk (Watain).
The second force to join this Union is
VULTUR.
Sardinian Native Black Metal veterans VULTUR will release their
brand new album “Cultores de Perdas e Linna” at the end of February
2025. Founded exactly 20 years ago, the band has been one of the
very first Black Metal acts featuring lyrics in Sardinian
Campidanese language, with themes about Sardinian occultism and
folk superstitions.
