The solo UK black metal project Ysbrydnos has
unveiled its latest EP, “Siant
Derwyddol”, now available for streaming.
Set in Crickhowell, 1783, the narrative unfolds in a once-peaceful
village now on the brink of starvation. In a desperate bid for
salvation, the villagers entrust their Holy Men, the Derwydd, with
a perilous task—ascending the mountain in search of the gods’
hidden wisdom, concealed deep within a forbidden cave…
The raw, atmospheric black metal of Siant Derwyddol comes to life
through Ysbryd’s haunting vocals and multi-instrumental mastery,
enhanced by Hundosai’s session drumming, with mixing and mastering
also handled by Ysbryd, while the cover features an image of
William Price of Llandaff, framed by intricate border artwork from
Vhan.
The title will be released on March 1st via Nocturnal Curse Records and Masters of Kaos Productions. Pre-orders are active here: https://bit.ly/416KAyo.
