The Austrian black metal entity Asphagor has signed a contract with Immortal Frost Productions for the release of their 5th studio album, coming in Autumn 2025.
Featuring several ex and current members from bands such as Agrypnie, Anomalie, Karg & Perchta, these Austrians have been roaming the alps since 2007 with their distinguished sound which features rapid blast beats and groovy black metal riffing entangled with some fantastic death metal break points. Their upcoming album is beyond doubt of a whole new level and will take the listener onto an even deeper journey.
Founded in 2007, Austrian extreme metal outfit Asphagor has developed into a recognizable brand and live powerhouse in Central Europe. The five current lineup members from different musical backgrounds and influences make for a unique blend of black, death and progressive metal elements. Never limited by genre customs yet firmly rooted in rock ’n roll. A unique art style approach incorporating stage builds and lighting concepts have followed each of the past studio releases. The band prides itself on the in-house design of all artwork and merchandise by vocalist Morgoth. Promoting the 2023 release Pyrogenesis, Asphagor toured across Europe alongside Dark Fortress on their farewell journey.
2025 marks a new beginning as the band signs with Immortal Frost Productions for their upcoming 5th full length album to be released in the Autumn.
