The German black metallers PESTNEBEL are back
in flames and blood!
With “Verfall”, their seventh album, the German black metal
institution proves once again that they are among the most
authentic advocates of uncompromising second-wave black metal. Or,
as band leader Pestmeister puts it: “Raw old-school black metal
– like it has been since our beginnings. No compromises! Pure hate!
PESTNEBEL stands for the decay and fall of humanity.”
Compositions like “Night of the Final Damnation”, which perfectly
combine raw, vicious underground energy, icy coldness, and majestic
grandeur, are in a class of their own. Even more focused and
aggressive than before, “Verfall” shatters the walls of human
