The German black metal
entity HORN unveils
its latest standalone single, “Naud”. Much like “Antoniusfeuer” from last year’s album
“Daudswiärk”, this new
track delves into the grim themes of hunger, crop failure, and ergot
poisoning—the mysterious affliction caused by a fungus
growing on grain.
The single’s cover
artwork is created by Timon
Kokott Art-Work, whose dark and intricate illustrations
perfectly complement the ominous atmosphere of the song.
A second single is
scheduled for early May, hinting at a cohesive concept that may take shape in a
future release.
