Thronum Vrondor erupt with their new effort, “Drowning in the Distorted Light”

Belgian black metallers Thronum Vrondor premiere their fifth full-length album “Drowning in the Distorted Light“, in its entirety. The album will be officially released on April 25th 2025  via Immortal Frost Productions. All music was created by Thronum Vrondor, with guest vocals on “To Burn the Absolute” by S. from Ars Veneficium. Recordings took place at The Attic. Producing, mixing and mastering was crafted by SvN.
The artwork was done by Frostbite, while the layout & design work was handled by Anthony Blomme & WrathDesign.

Thronum Vrondor returns with their 5th full length album entitled Drowning in the Distorted Light. Their signature 2nd wave black metal sound has not wavered, on the contrary, it has evolved on this album as their songwriting and production has once again taken a step forward with even stronger guitar riffs, more relentless blast beats supported by a heavy bass sound.

The songs in general are more memorable with some calmer moments where they give the listener room to breathe and absorb the complete atmosphere before unleashing once again their furious black metal riffing. Also, the vocals are more diverse on this record which delivers a whole new listening experience to those who are known with Thronum Vrondor.

Drowning in the Distorted Light is a well written Black Metal record that every fan of the genre should be able to enjoy to the fullest! Hateful, Fierce, Powerful, Dynamic and above all straight forward Black Metal is what you can expect! A must have for each fan of the genre.
